The advantage of this method is that we do not need much space. In addition, we will not get dirty and we will save seeds, money and most importantly – time! It is a simple and brilliant method!
First you need to cut polyethylene strips (you can also use plastic bags): width – 10 cm, length – it doesn’t matter.
Put toilet paper over the polyethylene strips (like in the picture above).
Sprinkle water over the toilet paper.
Place the seeds (tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, etc.) 1 cm distance from the top edge of the strips. Between every two seeds must be a distance of 2-3 cm.
Lay a toilet paper strip and a polyethylene strip over the seeds.
Make a roll.
Put the roll into a glass. You can also use the bottom of a plastic bottle.
Place the roll with seeds up. Pour water (up to the level of 3-4 cm).
Place the seedlings on the windowsill. You will need to change the water every other day. After 1 week the first leaflets will show.
You can add a few drops of flowers fertilizer. Then you can move the seedlings into the greenhouse. Remove the polyethylene sheets and you could see which thread is weak and which is strong.
The roots will measure 5-7 cm in length. Put the seedling in the soil along with the toilet paper, which at that time will be already decomposed.
