Well, we thought that you are facing with this problem, too, and we’ve decided to share our nasty experience in getting rid of slugs and snails. Because these pests will ruin plants in your garden and is very unpleasant to step on one of them after a rainy day.
So, try to place a wooden plank on the grass or near the area you want to protect in the garden. Slugs and snails enjoy cool and damp places, and when the sun will appear they will hide under the plank. Take the wooden plank and give them food immediately: humus grains, grapefruit peels or place traps with beer and crushed eggshells.
The beer traps are made from a metal box buried into the ground in which you’ve poured beer. Place a green leaf over it. These traps are perfect for catching these destroying pests.
Crush some eggshells and sprinkle them around the plants you want to protect. Sand and wood ash is also great to stop slugs and snails from attacking your plants.
