The Reason Why I Use Coffee Grounds In The Garden! Useful Gardening Tips

Coffee is the best ally of any gardener. If you used to throw coffee grounds then you will have to change this habit. Collect it, because it’s very useful in the garden.

Add coffee grounds to compost
Coffee grounds can be successfully added to the compost preparation. It gives the soil essential nutrients like phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.

Roses love coffee
Coffee is the “secret ingredient” used by experienced rose growers. Coffee helps roses to grow quickly and have multiple fluorescences. The coffee enriches the soil with nitrogen (in small quantities) and gives it a neutral pH. It also draws the earthworm which ventilates the soil and helps to combat existing bacteria in the soil.

Growing stimulator for carrots
Coffee contributes in stimulating carrots growth. Before sowing the carrots mix their seeds with coffee grounds and only then sow the carrots in the garden. They will quickly burst and you will get a rich carrot culture.

Keep pests away from the garden
Ants, slugs or snails can attack the vegetable garden. You can keep them at a distance if you put near the anthill or plants small amounts of coffee.

Prevents plant’s fungus infection
Coffee prevents the infestation of plants with various fungus infections, especially the roots and stems. All you have to do is to add a compost layer with coffee or, from time to time, sprinkle coffee grounds to the base of the plants
